The caring and compassionate staff of the ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, is dedicated to assisting family, friends and the community in their time of need.

Mardy Fransen - Owner/Funeral Director

I became a licensed Funeral Director in 1997, after graduating from Humber College in the Funeral Services education program.  I also have a degree in Business Administration - Marketing.  My funeral service career consists of serving Brantford, and the county of Brant, while working for both family and corporate Funeral Home establishments.  My passion consists of watching our son Joshua pursue his baseball journey, and the occasional round of golf with my wife Allison; who is the Events Co-ordinator for the last 19 years at the Brantford Golf & Country Club.

Sharon & Andy Cattrysse ~ Funeral Director Assistants

Sharon and Andy are former residents of Norwich, who currently reside in Tillsonburg. Sharon was raised in the Norwich area (nee McNally), while Andy was raised in Delhi area.  Sharon started with the Arn-Lockie Funeral home in 2013, while Andy in 2014.  Both have many ties to the Norwich and surrounding communities.  Both Sharon and Andy enjoy golfing and love to travel.  Favorite destinations being Europe and Mexico.

Gary Debus ~ Funeral Director Assistant

Gary now resides in Tillsonburg with his wife Shirley.  He is blessed with two daughters Kim and Debbie, and three wonderful grandchildren. Gary and Shirley lived in Norwich for over 30 years.  Gary retired from the trucking industry in London and Mississauga, with over 27 years of service. In his spare time, you can find Gary out golfing with the boys.


Don McKie ~ Funeral Director Assistant

Don and Pat McKie have been married for over 42 years, with there 2 children Laura and Adam.  Proud grandpa to his 5 grandchildren. Don was born and raised in the Norwich area.  Don worked for over 30 years with General Motors, before retiring in 2006.  It was as this time, Don came to assist Bill, at the funeral home. Don has been an Elder and a member of Board of Managers at the Knox Presbyterian Church, for over 35 years.  He enjoys lawn and gardening care, using his John Deere equipment.

Shirley Miller ~ Funeral Director Assistant

Shirley is the proud mother of Kim and Reid Smith. Her 2 grandchildren Craig and his wife Jordan, and their two children Warner and Crew and Kelly.   She was married to her late husband Don Miller for 51 years.  Shirley has lived in Norwich for 59 years, where she taught elementary school for 35 years, before her retirement.  Shirley then started to work for the funeral home in 1993.  Shirley is very active in the community, volunteering countless hours to various groups.  She is a sports enthusiast, as she is a loyal Toronto Blue Jay and Maple Leaf fan.


Pat Pike ~ Funeral Director Assistant

Pat and her husband John, have been married for 46years, with daughters Suzanne (Darryl) and Tara (Mike). Proud grandmother of Madison, Ella, Abby and Andrew.  Pat was born, and raised in Norwich.  Pat was the manager at Rochdale Credit Union, in Norwich for 23 years of service.  Pat has been at the funeral home since 2014, as well as part time in the office at Foodland - Norwich.  Pat very much enjoys spending time with family.  She is an avid card maker, crafts and scrapbooking.

Linda Whitehead ~ Funeral Director Assistant

Linda and Rick Whitehead have been married for 48 years, with daughter Michelle (James) and son Scott (Laura), and 3 granddaughters.  Born and raised in the Oxford County. Linda and Rick moved to the Norwich area and started their family, and family business, Whitehead Soils.  Linda came to work at the funeral home in 1994.  Linda enjoys quality time with family and friends.  She very much enjoys quiet reading and a nice walk on the golf course.
